Explanation about the Bible course
What We Teach
The Chicago Church teaches the explanation to all the events of the Bible through examining God’s position and situation and what He is working towards. We teach the plan and will of God fulfilled in our time today (the time of The Lord’s Second Coming) and focus especially on the importance of understanding God’s promises that He prophesied through Jesus at the First Coming and through the Book of Revelation.
Following the Word of God which states that books of History are given to us as warnings and examples (ref. 1 Cor 10:11) and that in these, are events that were a shadow of what was to come at the First Coming (Heb 8:5), we explore the books of history to understand the heart of God and learn valuable lessons to keep in mind today. Following 2 Tim 3:16-17, we explore all scriptures to perceive the words of instruction to be a complete believer. Most importantly, we learn through the Bible that God does nothing without revealing His plan to the servants the prophets (Ref Amos 3:7), thus we extensively explore the books of prophecy to perceive God’s plan (will) clearly.
The prophecies God showed His servants were said to be given in visions using parables (ref Hosea 12:10). Thus to understand what the prophets recorded, one must perceive the parables which Jesus called “secrets of the kingdom of heaven” ( Mt 13:10-11) which Jesus promised to explain clearly at an appointed time (Jn 16:25). Therefore, our first portion of the course is the Testimony on the Parables of The Secrets of Heaven and Their True Meanings, which is the Elementary portion of the course where we explore over 100 parables spoken by Jesus, and used in the book of prophecy, Revelation, so we can have a Biblical and true understanding of the actual meanings of the entities promised in the book of Revelation.
After Jesus taught the parables of the secrets of the kingdom of heaven to the disciples in Mt 13, He asked them if they understand. To this they agreed, and so Jesus said that one who has been instructed about the Kingdom of Heaven (i.e one who has learned the secrets of heaven, the parables, and perceived), is like the owner of the house who brings both old and new treasures (Mt 13:51-52). As a result, the Second portion of the Zion Christian Mission Center course is an extensive study of the Old and New Testaments, to learn and perfectly comprehend the overall flow across the entire Bible starting with the Old Testament going into the New Testament and of the detailed process of how God’s prophecies and His promises became fulfilled. This is the Testimony of the Revelation of the Old and New Testaments by Chapter, the Intermediate portion of the course. We have selected the best and most exciting contents to examine and study so one is able to become a walking Bible in a matter of months, without adding to or taking away from God’s words.
After examining the Parables of the secrets of the kingdom of heaven and their true meaning, and perceiving the figurative language used in prophecy, and perceiving the logic and order in how God fulfills His prophecies from the Old to the New Testaments, the last portion of the course focuses on an extensive, verse by verse, chapter by chapter study of the entire book of Revelation to clearly see how God has, is and will fulfill all His promises in our time today, which is the most important time for us to perceive. This is done through the Advanced course, The Testimony on the Prophecy and Fulfillment of God’s New Covenant, Revelation. Through this, we hope everyone can learn and when, where, through whom and how God’s prophecies became fulfilled along with their fulfilled reality and receive the promised blessings of heaven.

At the conclusion of the course, one is able to clearly understand God’s plan, objective and the completion of the work in the Bible, and what it is God has been working towards fulfilling for the last 6,000 years of recorded Bible history.
